It is the responsibility of all students to check the examination timetable. The regulations permit up to six hours of formal examination in any one day. The University defines a clash as two examinations at the same time. In the unlikely event that you have a clash-or any other query, it should be reported to the School with responsibility for the module(s) immediately.
- While every effort is made to avoid scheduling more than one exam per day per student, this is not always possible and you may have more than one exam per day, up to a maximum of six hours of assessment per day and exams on any number of consecutive days.
You are advised to check the notice boards, e-mail etc. again prior to your exams in case of any local changes.
- Examinations may be set between 9.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. Please check the starting times carefully as they may differ for each of your exams. Students are normally allowed into the venue 10 minutes before the start of the examination. It is your responsibility to ensure that you arrive on time - latecomers may not be admitted.
Please make sure that you know the venue of each of your exams. If you have more than one exam the venue may vary for each exam.
